Joint law enforcement operation in Brits
The MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Sello Lehari this morning is leading a joint law enforcement operation in Brits. The MEC is joined by the SAPS District Commissioner in Bojanala Major General Mosimanegape and Cllr Fenny Motepe, MMC for Public Safety in Madibeng Local Municipality in the multi stakeholder operation. MEC Lehari says the operation is a continuous campaign to ensure that law enforcement is visible on all provincial roads to monitor compliance. “We have just come from the festive season where we had massive operations on our roads and we want to ensure that law enforcement continues to increase its visibility. “Together with all our stakeholders, we believe that these campaigns are very effective in reducing fatalities and to enforce the law.
